Join WASK for the 23rd Annual Fat Tuesday Dinner Party, February 24, at 5pm at The Outpost. This Teacher Grant Fundraiser put on by the Lafayette Breakfast Optimist Club will feature an authentic Cajun dinner, and you’ll enjoy live New Orleans jazz music, silent auction, raffle, balloon wall, and The Wheel of Optimism. Bring out your New Orleans finery and compete in the Mardi Gras Costume Competition! A cash bar will also be available.

Each year the Lafayette Breakfast Optimist Club solicits grant requests from teachers in the Lafayette, West Lafayette, and Tippecanoe County School Corporation, as well as private schools. Funds are awarded based on the merits of the teachers’ requests and the availability of club funds.

When you attend the Fat Tuesday Dinner Party, you support our local youth by supporting our teachers.
